Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated  Aerial Lineman  to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. As an Aerial Lineman, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial communication lines, helping to ensure reliable service for our customers. You will be working outdoors, often in challenging conditions, which necessitates physical stamina and the ability to work at heights. Aerial Linemen are responsible for collaborating with other team members to execute projects efficiently and effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial telecommunications lines and associated equipment.
• Inspect existing aerial lines for damages or required upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in project planning and execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for residential and commercial clients.
• Operate aerial lifts and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in aerial work.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Adequate physical strength and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks.

Physical Requirements / Aptitude:

• Able to move in different positions – crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted.
• Works well with small hand and power tools.

Other:

• Available to work nights and be on-call; willing to work overtime when required; willing to travel and to work in all-weather conditions.
• Self-motivated and able to work well in groups.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Aerial Lineman or similar role in telecommunications.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. CDL a Plus
