Family owned and operated, The Coffee Tree Roasters has been a Pittsburgh favorite for 25 years. We are seeking hard working, enthusiastic individuals to fill our part-time and full time barista positions at our Pleasant Hills location. Must have flexible hours! Weekend availability required!

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service in a timely fashion
• Prepare and serve drinks and food in accordance with health code and Coffee Tree standards
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Restocking food and retail displays

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Meet all policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships
• Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment
