As a bartender at Mojitos Mexican Cantina, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of drinks, including traditional Mexican cocktails and our signature creations. You will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience by providing excellent service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and crafting beverages with precision and flair.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar area.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients.
Assist in creating and updating the drink menu, including seasonal cocktails.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve mixology skills.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Mexican beverages, including tequila, mezcal, and traditional cocktails like margaritas and palomas.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
