Are you a bilingual safety professional with a strong OSHA background and a passion for fostering safe, compliant, and productive workplaces? Our client, a global leader in structural and sustainable infrastructure solutions with nearly 150 years of history, is seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor for their Miami, FL manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary on-site safety contact, collaborating with leadership to implement and uphold safety policies
Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, state, and corporate safety regulations
Conduct thorough site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; recommend and follow through on corrective actions
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and develop proactive prevention strategies
Reinforce PPE usage and safe work practices in collaboration with supervisors and employees
Design and deliver effective safety training programs, including new hire orientations and ongoing education
Manage workers’ compensation claims and support return-to-work initiatives
Maintain accurate safety documentation for internal audits and regulatory compliance
Coordinate environmental testing and assist with inspections in partnership with environmental staff
Spearhead emergency preparedness planning and lead safety committee activities
Qualifications:
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (strong verbal and written communication skills)
Proven experience in safety leadership within a heavy industry, manufacturing, or industrial setting
Deep understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety auditing
Skilled in conducting safety training and leading incident investigations
OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and educate across all organizational levels
Proficient in safety management systems and documentation practices
Flexibility with working hours to meet safety and operational demands
