Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations within the local area.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary info:

$25 - $35 / hr
