This role blends:
Sculpting
Retopology
Texturing
Facial/expressive topology
Stylization & realism balancing
Engine optimization

🚀 Your Mission
Create high-quality, technically sound character models that express identity, emotion, and world lore.
You will:
Sculpt characters from concept to final optimized model
Maintain consistency with Inkognido’s style direction
Collaborate across animation, rigging, AI, and narrative teams
Build clean topology that supports expressive faces and complex movement
Your work becomes the face of the Inkognido universe.
đź› Responsibilities
Sculpt high-quality character models in ZBrush or similar tools
Retopologize and create production-ready low-poly/optimized meshes
Create UVs, textures, and materials (PBR or stylized)
Build facial topology that supports emotional expression
Create LODs for performance optimization
Work with Rigging Pipeline Engineer for joint count and deformation needs
Collaborate with Concept Artists to capture personality and silhouette
Implement characters in Unity or Unreal
Assist in defining the character style language with the Art Director
Support AI avatar expression pipelines (emotes, moods, dialogue states)
Help maintain faction identity, species variety, and world cohesion
You shape the most important visual element: the characters themselves.

Must Have:
Strong portfolio focused on character art
Expertise in sculpting (ZBrush, Blender, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of anatomy, proportions, and silhouette design
Experience with clean topology suitable for animation
Proficiency in PBR or stylized texturing workflows
Ability to follow style guides and iterate quickly
Understanding of engine constraints and optimization
Nice to Have:
Experience creating AR-ready characters
Knowledge of facial rigging or blendshape creation
Hand-painting or stylized texture experience
Experience with hair cards or stylized hair systems
Familiarity with photogrammetry cleanup workflows
Understanding of AI avatar pipelines or emotional expression logic
