**Job Description:** Permatex is currently looking for a Chemical Mixer to join our 1st shift team. 1st Shift hours are 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. Pay Rate: $24 - $27 depending on experience. **BASIC FUNCTION** To perform data entry and administrative duties to support the operations of the Manufacturing department. **JOB DUTIES** + Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automatically + Manufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer software + Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) + Perform routine batch quality checks + Sanitizes mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervals + Monitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of compliance + Assists in training of new mixers and assists other lines as needed + Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures + Recommends safety improvements as needed + Performs various other duties as necessary. **QUALIFICATIONS** + High school diploma/GED required + 3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industry + Must be computer literate + Must be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift + Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions. **Compensation Information:** Pay Rate: $24 - $27 depending on experience. _ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
