Golisano Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Practice for both the inpatient and outpatient wing of the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology units. A Master's degree and 5 (five) years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in pediatrics) is required.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an Advanced Practice Nurse// whose sphere of clinical practice influences patient care outcomes nursing practices across acute and critical care services and the development of organizational systems that support nursing practice and patient care standards. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing science required to influence nursing practice. Possesses clinical expertise based on completion of advanced nursing education that encompasses in-depth knowledge of theory-based clinical nursing and research/evidence-based nursing practice. Focuses on providing system-wide clinical expertise developing innovative evidence-based procedures policies and programs that improve quality of nursing care delivery and resource management for acute or critical care services. Provides collaborative/consultative services to promote outcome focused professional nursing practice that meets nationally accepted clinical practice guidelines and standards for quality, safety, service, and financial goals.
