Job Description
A growing government contractor based in Northern Virginia is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join its dynamic and expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of contractual responsibilities in support of federal programs while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the full lifecycle of contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contract documents, including subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
- Support proposal development and submission efforts, including pricing and contractual input.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Program Management, and senior leadership.
- Process and manage contract modifications, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
- Maintain data integrity within the company’s Contract Management System.
- Work independently on complex tasks, plan schedules, and prioritize activities to meet deadlines and business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant U.S. Government contract administration experience, or
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or
- High School Diploma (or GED) with 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven understanding of FAR and DFARS regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external government representatives.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and manage risk.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the defense contracting industry.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving tools and processes.
- Familiarity with government contracting principles and requirements.
- Background in related areas such as Subcontracts, Procurement, Finance, or Pricing.
- NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) is a plus.
