This role is hands-on and varied, covering accounting, payroll, benefits, insurance, HR support, and general office management. You’ll also oversee an Accounting Assistant and serve as a key resource across the business.
Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements, manage general ledger, and file sales taxes.
Oversee payroll processing, payroll taxes, and employee expense reporting.
Coordinate year-end tax documents and work with CPA firm.
Manage banking activities including vendor payments, deposits, and reconciliations.
Oversee employee benefits, 401(k) contributions, and business insurance renewals.
Support HR Director with employee requests and HR activities.
Oversee accounting staff
Manage office operations and vendor relationships to keep things running smoothly.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA a plus
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Intuit Payroll and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong accounting and payroll experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
