Director of Operations Leader – Electrical Construction & Manufacturing

Position Overview

Drive operational excellence by leading and mentoring a high-performance Operations team. Oversee strategic initiatives, budget alignment, and efficiency improvements, ensuring seamless integration with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement streamlined processes for operational efficiency and growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project success.
• Support preconstruction efforts and identify strategic opportunities.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor agreements, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with contract agreements and oversee change order processes.
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide leadership in training, mentoring, and productivity tracking.
• Align operational strategies with corporate goals and contribute to executive planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring project success.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master Electrician certification or degree in Engineering/Construction Management.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in large-scale project management (Data Centers, Government Projects, Schools, etc.) with P&L responsibility.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with creativity and sound judgment.
