Job Description

Job Summary: The Food & Beverage Runner at Ocean Place Resort & Spa is a vital member of our hospitality team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests, as well as helping to maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant. The position is full time and hourly, and will be based at our resort in Long Branch, New Jersey. Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner
• Check orders for accuracy before delivering to guests
• Help set up and break down tables as needed
• Assist with bussing and cleaning tables between guests
• Keep dining area and service station clean and organized
• Restock supplies and communicate any inventory needs to management
• Handle guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials
• Help with other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
