We’re seeking experienced GIS Technicians to join our contract team supporting electric utility GIS operations. You’ll work in the Esri platform to maintain, edit, and update electric distribution network data.

Contract: 1099 (independent contractor)
Work Mode: Remote (U.S. only)
Hours: Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time core business hours

Responsibilities:

Edit and maintain electric distribution network data using ArcGIS Pro.

Process and integrate work orders into the GIS system.

Ensure accuracy and data integrity across GIS platforms.

Collaborate with a distributed technical team and communicate progress clearly.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of GIS experience in an electric distribution utility.

Strong skills with Esri ArcGIS (Pro and/or ArcMap).

Experience with ArcFM or ArcGIS Utility Network (UN).

Knowledge of work order management workflows.

High attention to detail and consistency in production environments.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Reliable computer, internet, and ability to work 40 hrs/week remotely.

Must be able to pass a background check.
