Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead strategic marketing initiatives across U.S. and global markets. This role will oversee campaign strategy, content development, performance marketing, analytics, and digital engagement, while managing a high-performing team of marketing professionals. The ideal candidate will align marketing priorities with organizational objectives, drive measurable growth, and enhance brand visibility worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and revenue globally.
  • Own and prioritize the marketing backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to plan roadmaps and coordinate releases.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 10 marketers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Apply agile practices such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Select and manage vendors, agencies, and service providers.

Performance Marketing & Analytics

  • Establish KPIs, monitor marketing performance, and report to executive leadership.
  • Use analytics to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and inform strategic adjustments.
  • Promote a performance-driven culture focused on outcomes and conversions.

Digital & Content Strategy

  • Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, automation, content creation, and social media.
  • Ensure content resonates with global audiences and supports the full member and learner journey.

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

  • Act as a key advisor for internal stakeholders on campaign readiness, timelines, and priorities.
  • Coordinate marketing support for product launches, membership initiatives, and organizational programs.

Budget Oversight

  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient use of resources and measurable returns.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and scalable impact.

Measures of Success

  • Increased global reach, engagement, and lead conversions.
  • Higher campaign effectiveness (CTR, open rates, conversion rates, ROI).
  • Improved member renewal, upsell rates, and benefit awareness.
  • Enhanced brand awareness and sentiment.
  • Strong marketing ROI and contribution to revenue growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in marketing leadership with a proven track record in global strategy execution.
  • Strong expertise in performance marketing, campaign design, and management.
  • CSPO certification (required within 90 days of hire; A-CSPO or CSP-PO preferred).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with scrum/agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse, remote teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in nonprofit, certification/membership organizations, education, edtech, or workforce training preferred.
