Job Description

Position Title: Business Immigration Coordinator

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay: $23 to $24.00 /hour

Position Type – Temp to perm

About the Role:

Business Immigration Coordinator position provides an opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business while offering training, development, and long-term growth. As a Business Immigration Coordinator, you will work in a dynamic, challenging environment focused on immigration, delivering world-class client service and industry-leading technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including organizing, sorting, and distributing mail and scanning documents.
  • Update and manage case status, meet assigned deadlines, and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
  • Organize, maintain, and file legal documents and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare, collect, and organize cases for the shipping process.
  • Learn procedural and processing requirements for various non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications.
  • Respond to internal and external communications within the team.
  • Produce accurate work, proactively escalating issues to supervisor.
  • Use Connect and other data management systems accurately.
  • Apply new processes and best practice improvements as directed.
  • Follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, Paralegal certification, or experience in a customer-facing or client service-oriented role (retail or professional services).
  • Client service mindset, attention to detail, and high productivity.
  • Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Strong prioritization skills, ability to meet deadlines, and escalate issues to supervisor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and drafting without grammatical errors.
  • Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, collaborate effectively, and promote teamwork.
