Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in handling essential financial processes and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain valuable experience. Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment reconciliation. - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. - Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. - Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as processing payments and maintaining customer accounts. - Apply accounting entries and ensure compliance with established procedures. - Process cash applications and monitor transactions for accuracy. - Utilize NetSuite to effectively manage accounting operations and data. - Collaborate with team members to support overall financial reporting and month-end close processes. - Analyze financial data and provide insights to aid decision-making. - Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation. Requirements - Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and principles. - Familiarity with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation methods. - Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and related procedures. - Capability to process accounting entries with precision. - Experience with cash applications and handling financial transactions. - Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
