Lineman 

Akron, OH

We are currently seeking a full-time Lineman to join our team in Akron, OH to join or construction team and support ongoing fiber installation projects.

• Pay: $28-$32/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri
• 7 am-5 pm
• Some weekends may be required

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of lineman experience required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Valid CDL-A preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground fiber lines.
• Inspect and troubleshoot fiber line issues safely and efficiently.
• Operate line trucks, tools, and equipment for construction projects.
• Assist with emergency repairs and on-call duties as needed.
• Establish and follow OSHA and customer safety requirements.
• Install new strand and lashing fiber.
• Build risers, install snowshoes, slack coils, and related hardware.
• Preform tree trimming and right-of-way maintenance as needed.
