About the Opportunity

System One is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading industrial manufacturer specializing in mission-critical thermal solutions. This role is ideal for engineering professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about driving innovation, improving production efficiency, and supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing systems, reducing costs, and ensuring product quality across a range of advanced industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and improve manufacturing systems and methods, including automation, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and material handling equipment.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and aligned with safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with vendors to define product specifications and evaluate materials, equipment, and parts.
• Work cross-functionally with management, engineering, and production teams to streamline processes and meet production schedules.
• Apply statistical methods to forecast manufacturing needs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze labor costs, workflow, equipment layout, and space utilization to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and improve metrics related to productivity, capacity, and resource planning.
• Identify and implement process and design improvements to reduce cost and lead time.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conduct training sessions and post-implementation audits to ensure adherence to improvements.
• Design and commission tooling and fixtures using 3D CAD software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD design, data analysis, and productivity metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site with regular attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
