Positions with an 'FTE' (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an 'FTE' of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits
Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagn Shift 3ostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Responsible for performing all CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Point of Care Lab Testing. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
One year of clinical experience in each CT and X-ray required. Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRT in CT within one year is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
