Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding a Neurologist to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln,  which is located in NYC, 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan and is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University . Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Lincoln Medicine Department Overview :

• Lincoln Medical Center Neurologists can apply for Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at NYP Weill Cornell
• As a Comprehensive Stroke Center, we have thrombectomy capability and a wide range of interesting pathology.
• Active and supportive environment dedicated to mission driven care in the up-and-coming South Bronx neighborhood. This is an excellent setting to strengthen clinical skills or to grow academically. This department functions as a team, complete with education and cross training.
• Leadership and administrative training encouraged by the Organization. This is where you can launch, complete, or enjoy your entire career.
• Excellent culture of safety and support with the other peri-operative services. Folks are happy to be here.
• Provide clinical care in a primarily outpatient setting.
• Outpatient consultation in general neurology with potential for focus in applicant's subspecialty. 
• Provide supervision and teaching of internal medicine and psychiatry residents.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
• Opportunities for administrative and clinical research

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
• Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Ability to speak Spanish highly desired.
• Subspecialty training welcomed. Preference for EMG training but not required.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $269,000* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $389,520** , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
  • Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
• Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
• Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
• Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
• Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.
• Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
