Job Description

Description Pharmacy technician working in the fulfillment area will operate automated packaging and dispensing equipment. They may be required to work in packaging, Paxit, or packaging. Ensure automated packing equipment is filled with proper medications fulfillment of bulk Prescriptions Staging of all finished items for shipment to customers Will assist with making sure packages are ready to be shipped out Packaging: Process medications received from suppliers Medications are put into automated machine and it packages them into individually packaged and labeled blisters Then into the tubes that are loaded into the Paxit (filling machine) Once the tubes are filled, go to other side, and remove tubes Put in new tubes and start process again Paxit (Filling): Run Paxit (automated) machine that fills prescriptions Prescriptions are sent to Paxit from order entry team which kicks off the processes Pulls medications from loaded tubes into individual packets for each patient for each time of day then into a larger packet for the while floor of a care facility Problem solve any alarms that may go off Comfortable going into Paxit Toting: Finished packages ready to go to nursing homes are packaged into plastic totes Totes are organized by a system based on location of facility/time of day they leave Follow process to sort, organize, and prepare totes to go out with courier Bulk: Package any non-pill and prescriptions that cannot be packaged in their packaging Mostly creams, ointments, inhalers, eye drops, etc. Use printed orders to fill prescriptions Skills Data entry, Filling, Labelling, Fulfillment, Pharmacy, Retail pharmacy, Inventory Top Skills Details Data entry,Filling,Labelling,Fulfillment,Pharmacy Additional Skills & Qualifications Registered or Certified pharmacy Replenish supplies around the pharmacy Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
