Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that production processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement and refine production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure that all products meet established quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. At least 2 years within a lead supervisory capacity
• Proficient in production planning and control.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, or similar.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
