Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our growing team in a manufacturing environment . This role is crucial to ensuring alignment between production, inventory, sales, and purchasing to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production schedules and preventing inventory gaps or overages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and distribute weekly production schedules and reports
• Monitor and adjust production load for various departments including chain assembly, machining, and punch press
• Coordinate with warehouse and issue jobs as needed based on stock levels and customer demand
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth alignment across operations
• Analyze capacity and resource planning to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows
• Track and maintain KPIs, support engineering changes, and new product rollouts
• Forecast and communicate risks or opportunities in the production schedule

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Lynq a plus)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Onsite in a production facility with exposure to machinery and moderate noise
• Some light lifting, filing, standing, and reaching may be required
