JOB SUMMARY:

Business Operational Concepts (BOC) is currently seeking a motivated and organized Project Assistant to support project planning, coordination, and day-to-day execution activities. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build foundational experience in project management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks
  • Track project schedules, action items, and deliverables
  • Assist with meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up communications
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and trackers
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders as directed
  • Monitor task progress and escalate issues or risks to the Project Manager
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding coordination and general project logistics
  • Help ensure projects follow established processes and timelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required (Minimum) Qualifications -- Education, Certification, Experience, and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (or equivalent tools)
  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications -- Education, Certification, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Prior office, administrative, customer service, or coordination experience
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Interest in pursuing a career in project management or operations
