Job Description

The Axel Group is currently seeking a Project Facilitator/Coordinator to support our client's architectural and production staff. The ideal candidate will help manage day-to-day operations, assist technical staff with workflow progression, and possess strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

This position will also provide project workflow support by reviewing contractor paperwork and submittals, coordinating with consultants and review agencies, and utilizing our project management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based programs is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers and architects with administrative and coordination tasks to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Organize project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and client communications.
• Coordinate meetings, track project progress, and communicate updates with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support budget tracking, invoicing, and procurement processes to maintain project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
• Manage project files and maintain accurate records using project management software and databases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years in a project coordination, administrative, or related support role—preferably within architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Comfortable navigating and working within Windows-based programs and project management software.
