Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple small and medium-sized projects. This team member assembles project plans, directs and monitors project work, and collaborates with leadership to escalate and resolve project issues. This team member is responsible for the tracking of key project milestones and adjusting project plans to meet the project objectives/targets. The Project Manager coordinates communication with other teams and leadership regarding overall project plan, accomplishments, status, budget and risks.
Position Responsibilities - Other Duties May Be Assigned - Lead, develop and manage clear, detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to define project goals, scope, success metrics, and key deliverables.
- Communicate effectively across teams, leadership, and external partners (such as vendors or customers) to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bring together cross-functional teams including engineering, product, design, operations, and support to drive collaboration and ensure readiness across all areas.
- Track project progress, proactively identify blockers or delays, and adjust plans as needed to keep delivery on time and within scope.
- Lead resolution of complex issues and coordinate across teams to identify risks early and put strong mitigation plans in place.
- Provide regular, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders, sharing progress, challenges, and solutions in a clear, actionable way.
- Ensure deliverables meet the required quality standards and support a smooth handoff by supporting releases to customers.
- Maintain well-organized project documentation, including plans, decisions, meeting notes, reports, and lessons learned for future reference.
- Own project metrics and reporting.
Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of project management experience in Software Engineering, IT Systems or related field with proven ability to deliver results on large-scale projects is required.
- PMP or PMI/ACP certification is a plus.
- Solid working knowledge of effective Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to effectively run and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, and a self-starter with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
The salary range for this position is $72,000 – $126,000 salaried.
