Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical power plant construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, construction management, and utility-scale power generation. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a project specific opening based in Longview Texas. This project is 7 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of power plant construction projects, from initiation through commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and performance using KPIs and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of completed facilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale electrical infrastructure or power plant projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, and power generation technologies.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
