Peril Mavens is sourcing for upcoming construction projects across Texas and is seeking Safety Consultants with proven construction site experience. This W-2 role offers an opportunity to work directly with general contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to enforce safety standards, conduct site assessments, and support ongoing compliance from pre-construction through project completion.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site safety inspections and job hazard analyses
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA 1926)
• Support toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training facilitation
• Provide real-time field support for incident prevention and mitigation
• Submit technical safety reports with corrective recommendations
• Collaborate with GCs, subcontractors, and project leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
• BCSP certification required (e.g., CHST, CSP, OHST)
• 3+ years of construction safety experience (commercial, civil or infrastructure projects)
• Must be local to Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard control methods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and represent Peril Mavens on active jobsites
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check

• Project-based schedule (weekdays; occasional weekend or night shift may apply)
