The Scrum Master is responsible for mentoring and supporting application development teams in Agile Scrum within the IT Business Applications & Services team at Danaher Corporate. This position will be Remote in US Or Canada.

  • Lead and coach one or more agile teams to deliver high-quality enterprise applications, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous feedback. Being a servant leader, providing support while challenging teams to excel & facilitate cross-team coordination, aligning efforts toward strategic business goals.
  • Coach team members on Agile and Lean best practices and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), while fostering a high-performing, self-organizing team culture. Partnering with Product Owners, Managers and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate refinement, prioritization and execution of deliverables.
  • Facilitate agile events (e.g. daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, planning, reviews and retrospectives).
  • Identify, manage and resolve impediments. Measure and report on Agile delivery metrics, identify and surface potential issues early, using insights to optimize team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and addressing inefficiencies, championing Agile and Lean adoption across the organization, influencing leadership on practices.


The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management or release management; 5+ years preferred
  • At least 2 years as Scrum Master for engineering teams utilizing Agile Scrum.
  • Coaching, mentoring and guiding individuals/teams on iterative development
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to focus teams around objectives and deliverables


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Agile Scrum Master certification
  • PMP or similar Project Management certification
  • Experience working with Enterprise Applications development teams
  • Capability to work successfully with internationally distributed teams


Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

The annual salary range for this role is $130K-$160K US and $120k-$140k CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
