What you'll do at

Position Summary...

Our Legal team ensures that as the company works to make good decisions for customers, those decisions are also lawful and ethical. We need experts to make sure our facilities follow all laws and regulations. More than that, we need to work together to make sure we operate according to our high ethical standards.

As Senior Counsel, you will collaborate with the business, People partners, and other stakeholders in the area of U.S. labor and employment law. More specifically, you will provide guidance and advice to People partners and business leaders in the context of employment-related laws and regulations, and you will support leaders relative to performance management, leave and disability issues, terminations, and all aspects of the human resources or People function. You will also assist in defending the company in the context of administrative charges and attorney demand letters.

What you'll do...

• Provide the client with an informed understanding of legal obligations and risks to allow the client to make informed decisions.  

• Identify the need for and directing training.  

• Engage, direct, and supervise outside counsel in the context of administrative charges and attorney demand letters.

• Develop and foster relationships with the business and People partners and maintaining an understanding business goals and objectives.

What you'll bring:

• You have extensive experience providing employment counseling for business clients.

• You have extensive experience defending employment-related administrative charges and lawsuits. 

• You are curious and have a desire to fully understand the process and the facts.

• You excel at providing clear and succinct advice in a way that brings others along.

• You pride yourself on being responsive and helpful to clients, and you understand that attorneys are service providers.

• You are organized and can manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

‎ 

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
