**Responsibilities** + Monitor and operate sterilization equipment + Examine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized + Test and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment + Sterilize, prepare, wrap and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures + Prepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures and medical carts + Maintain records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance and supplies **Qualifications** + High School Diploma, or GED Required + Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred While you're busy impacting the healthcare industry, we'll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more! **Overview** As our Sterile Processing Tech at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, you'll help our team oversee the sterilization and cleaning of medical equipment, instruments or supplies in a sterile processing environment. To be a successful sterile processing technician, you should be meticulous with strong attention to detail.
