**Job Title: Truck / Trailer Mechanic** **About the Role** Hiring a **Truck Trailer Mechanic** to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on **tractors, trailers, and rolling equipment** including front-end loaders, forklifts, and skid steers. If you're a hands-on problem solver with diesel experience and welding skills, we want you on our team! **Key Responsibilities** + **Diagnose & repair** medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers + Perform **PMs, inspections, and DOT-compliant repairs** + Troubleshoot systems: brakes, tires, suspensions, hydraulics, electrical + Repair trailer components: doors, floors, side panels + Weld and fabricate as needed (prints optional) + Maintain accurate work orders and parts inventory + Ensure a clean, safe, and organized shop environment + Collaborate with team members and vendors + CDL and DOT physical card a plus **Must-Have Skills** + Diesel engine repair + Trailer repair and maintenance + Welding and fabrication + General mechanical repair **Nice-to-Have Skills** + Brake systems + DOT compliance knowledge + Tractor trailer diagnostics + Forklift and skid steer experience **Qualifications** + Technical school certification OR 1+ year of relevant experience + Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities + Excellent communication and time management skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Fluent in English (verbal and written) **What We Offer** + Competitive pay + 401(k) + matching + Health, dental, and vision insurance + Health savings account (HSA) + Paid time off (PTO) + Supportive, safety-first work culture **Work Environment** Hands-on diesel shop environment working with **skid loaders, trailers, diesel engines, and forklifts** .
