Job Description

Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with a Secret Clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Huntsville, AL. This position is onsite with the customer. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: + Leads the design and user experience for applications and interfaces built on the Power Platform. + Conducts user research, creates wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs. + Ensures designs are accessible, consistent with branding guidelines, and meet user needs. + Collaborates closely with Power Platform Developers to implement designs. Champions user-centered design principles. Minimum Qualifications: + User research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), usability testing, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), strong understanding of design principles and best practices. + 5+ years of UI/UX design experience. + A strong portfolio demonstrating successful UI/UX design projects. + Nielsen Norman Group certifications or similar UX certifications are a plus. + Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. + Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers. + Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed. + Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus + Secret Clearance **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
