We are seeking an experienced and dependable Ultrasound Technician to join a reputable healthcare team in Ithaca, NY. This is a full-time contract position offering competitive compensation for professionals with a strong background in general and/or vascular sonography.
Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations efficiently and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to assist with imaging interpretations
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the procedure
Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment as needed
Adhere to imaging protocols and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care
Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical setting
Proficiency in general sonography (required); vascular sonography experience preferred
ARDMS certification or equivalent credential (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
