The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately processing orders for pickup and delivering in a timely manner while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, showroom, and property along with contributing to a positive customer experience.

$19.00 hourly

• Follow tasks and instructions provided by the manager.
• Prepare work orders and pickups for the day, including preparing the exact yardage of material.
• Deliver orders to customers or other company warehouses with safety and care in mind.
• Appropriately display and maintain all materials.
• Maintain stock samples.
• Appropriately dispose of materials.
• General maintenance of building and property, including but not limited to: lawn maintenance, snow removal, and basic landscaping.
• General custodial responsibilities.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Good computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work will be performed inside and outside of the warehouse and store.
• Work will be performed off-site at customer location(s).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ergonomic factors: lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, repetitive motions, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
• Climbing Ladders
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

• Travel will be required to customers’ homes or other store locations using a company vehicle.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Forklift certification
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field/work experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Unrestricted drivers license
