Universal Transportation Systems, LLC. has openings for friendly, reliable and professional associates to join our growing company! This position is for a yellow school bus dispatcher! 

Who are we?UTS provides transportation for yellow bus transportation for students in Columbus, OH. .

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour (Based on Experience) 

*Salary will be negotiated for bilingual applicants! 

Shift: 11:00am-7:00pm (Monday-Friday)

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a dispatching role and customer service setting required
• Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Provide accurate and friendly customer service in a timely fashion.
• Maintains radio contact with all drivers to relay relevant information regarding route changes, road conditions, or other pertinent info.
• Utilizes UTS software and GPS technology to notify drivers of route changes and instructions in a timely manner
• Maintains incident/procedure files to ensure a quick and thorough response to accidents or emergencies.
• Triage issues and respond appropriately to issues of greater importance.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints by providing appropriate solutions.
• The ability to troubleshoot and find alternative solutions in a fast-paced work environment.
• Communicate any negative trends or problems to the management team.
• Troubleshoot problems with employees, students, and campus administration.
• Follow company communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
