Activities Assistant - Full-Time
Oakwood Gardens Care Center - Fresno, CA
Starting Rate: $17.50/hour

Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about bringing joy to others? Oakwood Gardens Care Center , a skilled nursing facility in Fresno, is looking for a Full-Time Activities Assistant to help enhance the daily lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in planning and leading individual and group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and social events
• Encourage resident participation and foster a fun, inclusive environment
• Help organize special events, outings, and holiday celebrations
• Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation
• Work closely with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars
• Provide support for residents who are bedbound or need one-on-one engagement
• Support the emotional, physical, and social well-being of our residents

What We're Looking For:

• A compassionate and outgoing personality
• Creativity and enthusiasm for working with seniors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays

Pay:
Starting at $17.50/hour - Full-Time with Benefits
