Ohana Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of family law procedures, and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients, whether in court or during mediation sessions. Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and property division.
  • Prepare and present cases in court including hearings and trials.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and options concerning family law issues.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in family law disputes.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed about changes in family law and relevant case law.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing compassionate support throughout the legal process.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Hawai'i.
  • Must be able to travel to Hawai'i on a regular basis for court proceedings.
