The Level III NICU is looking for a caring and qualified Neonatologist to join our friendly and innovative team. We are dedicated to providing excellent care for newborns, and we have a modern NICU with private rooms for families.
**Job Details:**
- Take care of newborns in our 40-bed Level III NICU at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital.
- Work with a team of Neonatologists who provide care all day and night, every day of the week.
- Use advanced medical treatments, such as special breathing machines and therapies.
- Collaborate with pediatric surgery and heart specialists who are available on-site for comprehensive care.
- Work with a team of nurses who transport patients in emergencies.
- Focus on caring for NICU patients with a family-centered approach in private rooms.
- You won’t need to cover the newborn nursery; your focus will be only on the NICU patients.
- Participate in improving care quality, safety programs, and research supported by Pediatrix Medical Group.
- Help create a team environment that values new ideas, education, and support for families.
**Qualifications:**
- You must be Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – THIS IS REQUIRED.
- You must be Board Certified in Pediatrics – THIS IS REQUIRED.
- You need a medical license to practice in Nevada or agree to get one – THIS IS REQUIRED.
- A clean history with malpractice and licenses is strongly preferred.
**Requirements for Certification:**
- You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- You need a medical license to practice in Virginia or agree to get one.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics and either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology is required.
