Help needed for my grandmother in her 90s - seeking full-time live-in home care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Help needed with bathing. Responsibilities include feeding. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. My grandmother is essentially on her death bed, so hospice will be coming in for all her medical/wound care. She is diabetic, but not on shots or dialysis, has 1 leg, 1 seeing eye, her left arm muscles have atrophied, All of her food has to be pureed. She is alert and can talk , but her mental state is diminishing due to a UTI back in October of 2024 that she never mentally recovered from. I live 5 minutes away by car. The house is fully furnished, has wifi, and basic groceries included. My grandmother has the master Bedroom, the care giver will have their own room, and 3rd room is for family guests/visitors.
